KOAXON VPN is a virtual private network application developed and operated by KOAXON. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure, private browsing experience.

2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We want to be completely transparent. KOAXON VPN does NOT collect or store:

• Your browsing history or internet activity
• DNS queries or IP addresses
• Connection timestamps or session durations
• Traffic data or content of communications
• Your real IP address while using the VPN
• Any personally identifiable information

3. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

To provide and improve our service, we may collect minimal non-personal information:

• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash data to fix bugs and improve stability (via Firebase Crashlytics). This does not include any personal or browsing data.
• Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics such as app opens and feature usage (via Firebase Analytics). No personal data is linked to these events.
• Ad Interactions: If you watch reward ads, Google AdMob may collect device identifiers as per their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this data.

4. PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST & WHY

• VPN Permission: Required to create an encrypted tunnel that secures your internet traffic. Without this, the app cannot function.
• Internet Access: Required to connect to VPN servers and fetch server configurations.
• Network State: Used to detect connection status and ensure stable VPN operation.
• Foreground Service: Required by Android to keep the VPN connection active while the app runs in the background.

5. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

The limited anonymous data we collect is used solely for:

• Fixing bugs and improving app stability
• Understanding general usage patterns to improve features
• Ensuring servers are running properly

We never sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. ENCRYPTION & SECURITY

All VPN traffic is encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption — the same standard used by military and financial institutions. Your WireGuard configuration keys are encrypted end-to-end and never stored in plain text.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

KOAXON VPN integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — for serving advertisements. Google Privacy Policy →

8. ADVERTISING

The free version of KOAXON VPN displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising ID. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

Premium subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

KOAXON VPN is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

10. DATA RETENTION

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Anonymous crash reports and analytics data are retained by Firebase/Google for up to 90 days as per their standard policies.

11. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Right to request deletion of your data
• Right to opt out of personalized advertising
